Your WDI inspection is on the calendar. What happens next? Here is the simple version.

How Long Does It Take?

Plan on about an hour for most homes. Bigger homes and tricky spaces can take longer.

Where We Look

The foundation, crawl spaces, basements, attics, garages, and the wood around the outside of the home. We look at what we can see and reach.

How to Get Ready

  • Clear a path to the crawl space, attic, basement, and garage.

  • Move boxes and stored items away from walls when you can.

  • Unlock gates, sheds, and access panels.

  • Leave lights on in dark spaces.

  • If you have old treatment records, have them handy.

What Can Block an Inspection?

Stored items, insulation, standing water, deep snow, and locked doors can all keep us from seeing an area. We write down anything we could not reach. A clear path means a more complete report.

After the Inspection

You get a clear written report. If we see signs of activity or damage, we explain it in plain words and talk through your options. No scare tactics.
